Maintenance The Whispering Woods
maintenance crew has done a great job over the winter repairing problem areas
(such as the drainage on hole #4). They have also
planted ornamental grasses on hole #4, taken down
trees behind #16 Tee and overall kept the course in good condition. They are
now gearing up for the opening of the Spring Season. The Greens were fertilized on Feb. 23rd
and the 1st Aerification of the course is scheduled for Tuesday
May 29th. |

This
day was followed by another delicious lunch at the Table on the Green.
Veronica’s Mother Milly (age 90) who started playing golf at the age
of 85, was also present at this two day event to inspire all of us to be the
best that we can be. She has
been her daughter’s inspiration every since she stepped onto her first
putting green at the age of five. The
Ladies of Whispering Woods Golf Club would like to thank Veronica, Stuart,
Dale, and Milly for two very fun filled informative days. We
would also like to wish Veronica luck on qualifying for the US Open this
year. More
photo of this event are posted on the news letter
bulletin board at the Whispering Woods Golf Club. |

Then,
